About Scott Selikoff

Scott Selikoff is a senior Java/J2EE software developer with years of experience in web-based database-driven architectures. He owns and operates Selikoff Solutions, a software consulting company servicing businesses in the NY/NJ/PA area. He also serves as a moderator assisting JDBC, Adobe Flex, and GWT developers on The JavaRanch Big Moose Saloon, which is the best java discussion forum on the web. In the past, he has also moderated the WebSphere, WebLogic, Web Services, and Object Relational Mapping forums.

Scott holds SCJP certifications from Sun in both Java 1.4 and 6, as well as OCA 8 and OCP 8 certifications. He is also an active contributor on the GWT bst-player project, which adds Flash, QuickTime, and WMP video options to GWT. In his spare time, Scott enjoys swing dancing and playing fetch with his dog.
