					<description><![CDATA[It seems like a pretty toxic workplace that requires employees to work during vacation. Answering emails and attending IS work, so by definition it&#039;s not vacation. There should be a handover from the employee to colleagues before the vacation, and a briefing of said colleague about what happened after it.

Honestly, how many meetings are there where the presence or absence of one particular person makes or breaks the meeting? Colleagues that may be impacted should be aware of when someone is on leave, and plan accordingly. And for the rare occurrence where an urgent situation requires someone to attend from the road, that should then count as a workday, and not as vacation.]]></description>
