I didn’t try it. It’s probably better for taking notes if you do it often since it is real editor. I haven’t tried it so I don’t really know what I am missing though.

I use the ipad for two types of notes. Neither fits Pages.
1) quick notes to myself where I don’t need a Word processor
2) HTML coded pages for my blog. Word processors don’t tend to be so good for HTML.

press “on” for second option (auto-correction)

Note that if you don’t use a lot of special vocabulary, it’s easier with auto-correct on. Because turning off auto-correct turns off spellcheck.
