Clearly you didn&#039;t read your link.  The spec is not up-to-date and omits codecs.  Either way, Adobe publishes new versions of Flash so often, such as when they re-invented Flash in Flex 4, that no one could keep up.

As for why would Apple make a Flash compiler?  Because it would be really, really funny.  I think you&#039;re missing the irony if Apple did create a Flash compiler and player.]]></description>
